The Login Experience: What Actually Goes Wrong

Strong compliance tools. Overtime alerts, break tracking, and audit trails are built in. For businesses in industries with specific labor law requirements, DCAA compliance support is meaningful.
Flexible clock-in options. Web browser, mobile app, and tablet kiosk all work. The kiosk mode is useful for job sites where a single shared device serves the whole crew.
Crew clock functionality. One person can clock in an entire crew at once, which saves time on large job sites where everyone arrives together.
Scheduling features. Drag-and-drop scheduling with recurring shifts, overlapping shift alerts, and shift swapping gives managers meaningful control over scheduling without a separate tool.
Reporting depth. Reports cover labor costs, job costing, overtime, and productivity. They can be customized and exported, and they connect directly to QuickBooks for billing and invoicing.
TSheets Cons
You need a QuickBooks ecosystem. QuickBooks Time is not designed as a standalone product. It is designed as an add-on to QuickBooks Online. If you do not use QuickBooks, you are paying for integration value you will never use, and the pricing reflects the full ecosystem rather than standalone time tracking.
The pricing is high. There is a base fee on top of the per-user fee. For small teams of five to fifteen employees who are not already QuickBooks subscribers, the total cost is significantly higher than comparable dedicated time tracking tools. Pricing went up when TSheets became QuickBooks Time and has not come back down.
The rebrand created lasting confusion. Three names, two major app transitions, and multiple login URL changes have left a trail of confused users who cannot figure out where to log in or which app to install.
